Corazon “Cora” was born in the Philippines and spent most of her life in Balayan, Batangas, a place she always held close to her heart. She later moved to Southern California to be reunited with her beloved children and her husband, a proud U.S. Navy veteran.
Cora earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Manuel Luis Quezon University, but her greatest role, and the one she cherished most, was being a homemaker. She devoted herself fully to her family, embracing the work of caring, nurturing, and creating a home with quiet strength and love.
She was an exceptional cook, known especially for her leche flan, a dessert that became a family favorite and a sweet symbol of her generosity. Anyone who tasted it knew it was made with care and pride.
Cora will be remembered for her warmth, her devotion to her family, and the comfort she brought to those around her. Her love lives on in the memories she created and the traditions she shared.
She is survived by her husband, Rey Sr.; her three children, Abigail, Ryan, and Rey Jr., along with their spouses; her grandchildren, Cielo, Kai, and Tristan; and her siblings, Ofel, Carlos, Guia, and Noel.
Message from the family:
To honor Cora, we invite you to wear black, white, or gray. Your presence is the only gift we ask for. To honor her final wish to return to the Philippines, our family is raising funds to help with the costs of bringing her home. Any support is deeply appreciated, but please know there is no pressure at all.. And if desired, Cora loved sunflowers, and any flowers sent to the service would be deeply appreciated. Your thoughts, prayers, and kindness mean the world to us during this difficult time.
